Just straightening the dents wasn't enough for us; our VW bus was in the bathroom.

The damage from the trip to Sicily wasn't too extensive, but we still decided to undertake a full restoration. So our T1 was completely disassembled and taken for dip stripping and e-coating. Such a process can sometimes lead to unpleasant surprises. Luckily, our T1 has a very good base and we didn't have to give up on it :-). With its black base coat, it already looks quite unique!

It's now at the body shop and paint shop. Our VW bus is getting the same color and features as before the restoration.
